Spray booth bathroom fan motor question.

The fan in mine is 30 cm or 12 inch, it needs the speed controller to stop it sucking the furniture in 

The other problem is flow rate.  A spray booth requires at least 100 cfm.  Not all bathroom fans are this powerful.  Some are around 40 cfm.

Not familiar with this model, & am puzzled as to how the fan will do 'owt more than distribute paint scatologicly?

Following Snib's airbrush page link above, I've seen several home-brew booths, with & without carbon filters, but characterised by the use of 4" or 6"  BATHROOM EXTRACTOR FANS, or IN-LINE fans

Caveat: the fans are rated as brushless (eg sparkless) and are IP44 (in the UK)  safety rated,

eg fans designed to shift wet/damp air with the motor not in direct airflow & capable of withstanding minor splashes.

There are also 12 volt fans rated as safe within shower enclosures available as well.

Your local safety regs may differ, but you only get 1 life, so 'lets be careful out there...'

it is indeed brushless.

I'm far from an expert in electricity but I'm pretty sure this motor is brushless.

As long as its brushless as that is there's no ignition source just electromagnetic field, I use a old exhaust fan with the same motor. Not sure on the impeller though, just a fan on mine with a speed controller.
