Airbrush Lube????

The lube is not absolutely necessary but I would highly recommend it.
It makes the action of the airbrush smoother and it keeps paint from drying to the needle's surface. Some people use a very small dab of petroleum jelly but I don't recommend that as it can affect your paint if too much is used.

It does slick them up a bit. I had never used it and picked some up today. Quite a bit smoother feel to it.

Which brand of needle lube did you get?

I have some Medea Super Lube, which I use sparingly just on the front half of the needle, it sure does make a difference. I would recommend this stuff and a small bottle should last a long long time. I was wondering though about the small blue granules in the bottom of the bottle, is that normal? If so does anybody know what they are. Just curious.

I forgot that it's blue now.
My bottle is old and it was almost the color of motor oil back then.

www.dixieart.com has the tube version of Superlube, i would not airbrush without it, it has made such a huge difference for me, i dont think i could airbrush without it
