Are there any good options for alternate "everyday" thinners to use with paints. I understand to thin paints for airbrushing it is best to thin it with the same brand of thinner. However, I find it difficult, living where I do (Italy) to find hobby shops with a good selection of anything. I know there are alternate brush cleaners, windex and rubbing alcohol for acrylic and mineral spirits for enamel, but what about using as thinners for airbrushing?
