Hi!
I use mostly golden taklon brushes. and yes the lacquer is hard on them after a while. But it will be hard on natural hair in time too. The brushes are fairly reasonable to replace and hold the tip a long time. The masters stuff does work very well. but it will not reclaim a brush too badly damaged. I use the same brushes for both types of paint. I just make sure to rinse with water right after the lacquer thinner and use the masters product on occasion. A tip with that, you need to "soap up" and rinse the brush repeatedly for best results. I leave the soap in on the last go to help condition and shape the brush tip. Rinse before using the next time. It will soften and help the brush keep shape as well as clean it. Try a smaller container and if you like it buy more. It certainly will not do ant harm if you are willing to discipline yourself to using it. Have fun!
