Problem With Testors Model Master Flat Clear

Thanks for you replies.  I shook to daylights out of it and it worked fine.  Quite a smell compared to the Liquitex varnishes.  Same result though.

Just to be sure, this was Model Master "acrylic" flat clear, correct?  In the little round 1 oz. bottle?

Usually even thick coats of dullcoat dry quite quickly.  

Awhile ago Testors did experiment with some enamel versions of both the dull and gloss.  Maybe you got that version.  Many of us did not like that version very much and I don't see it on the shelves now.

MM flat acrylic clear is milky white but dries clear. I like to thin it with the Universal acrylic thinner.   What I suspect is that the chemicals were not properly mixed and they separated in the bottle. You need to stir it  as Gary suggested.
