H308 would be Aqueous Hobby Color and C308 would be Mr Color, for example. In the US it is almost impossible to find Aqueous Hobby Color anymore.

H77 is tire black. Gunze has 2 lines of paint, the aqueous and the lacquers, hence the 2 diffferent codes
The particular part I'm referring to is the tyres on the Trumpeter 1:48 FW200C-4 Condor. Although its just Mr Hobby/Color paints in general. Why in instructions do they have two numbers as opposed to one.
What kit? Colors change according to scheme. Is it an exterior or interior scheme?
I'm looking at a model kits instructions and it advises me to use Mr Hobby/Color paints. Now on the sheet that shows the building instructions it says to use H 89|77 but on the sheet with the aircraft's paint scheme it tells me to use H 77|137. Why doe's it have this and what should I do with these instructions as it seems to be a continuing theme on other parts of the build. I appreciate the help.
