HMS Hood Painting
Posted by Rangatron on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 2:02 AM

Hello

I am building the Trumpeter 1/350 HMS Hood. Can you please confirm that these colours are suitable (from referring to the picture and video).

Tamiya XF-80 (the main colour)
Tamiya XF-9 (for the bottom half of the hull)
XF-55 or XF-78? Which one for the wooden deck looks better?

Any other colours needed?

Thank you
Tamiya please produce these models: TOG II*, Bob Semple Tank, Renault FT-17, Black Prince, 1/350 HMS Vanguard and more British stuff! If anyone works Tamiya or can pass this on, please do so!

Looks right.

You can use both of the tans for the deck. 78 for the base and wash with 55.

Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.
