First thank you so much for your answer... let see if I understood correctly... with shades you will go from dark to light and highlights from light to dark... is that the way?

I am by no means a jedi either, but the best tip that I ever got from a friend was shades brush up and highlights brush down.   Good luck.

In order to master any skill, practice is essential.  Practice on scrap, so as to not screw up a good kit.  Also, practicing on scrap material frees you up to be more willing to experiment, another activity essential to mastery.

 

Hmmm, you should be able to blend them using a very thinned paint using a wet blend technique. I use to paint Bob Ross type pictures using that method, but he used oils.

Thank you my dear modelcrazy, Well I need to learn how to blend with acrylics, I am working in some faces scale and I know that we have to do base, but on the next step is where I start going crazy, it looks like two different paint jobs, I cannot blend for some reason, that is why I need some kind of assistance. And you are a Jedi Master just by answering my post.

I'm not sure of any place to read up on it but YouTube has several fine tutorials you can watch. 

I may not be a Jedi Master when it comes to acrylics and oils however I MAY be able to answer a few questions.
