Or use gloss black in a rattle can. Spray in several light coats. Dry time is much shorter than Testors enamel.
Yes, it takes at least as long to dry as Testors enamel. Since I keep gloss black Testors in stock, I just use that- never finished the bottle of the Alclad stuff.

Thanks for the info, I guess I'll let it cure for a few days and see what happens. I may need to polish that alclad base cuz it came out a little pebbly looking, Do you think testers acrylic gloss black will go over it ok?

I've used it once, and did not have that issue. I did let it cure for 2-3 days.

I've used it a couple times without issue. They reccomend letting it dry for 7 days. I have had success spraying sooner than that thoug.

I've never sprayed it myself but I've heard of a lot of people having it not cure or taking a very long time to cure.
