Finicky Badger Xtreme Patriot 105 Airbrush

The 105 doesn't have the teflon washer.  Very likely the problem is a poor seal between the nozzle and body.  Both have to be clean and smooth.  A tiny bit of Chapstick or bees wax can help.  If your airbrush has a rubber o-ring between the head and body, remove it.  It makes it difficult to feel when the head is tightened enough.  Finger tight should be plenty.

Does that model include a teflon washer between body and nozze piece?  I know on my 150 and 200 models, such backflow of air means it is time to replace that washer.

Maybe the front is not tightened down properly. Send it to Badger for repair.

I've used a 105 for years, no problems.

I would sugest sending it to Badger. They will either fix it or replace it. They have very good customer service.

I sent in my 105 a couple of years ago to be checked and they cleaned it and replaced a seal for free, shipping excluded.
