Chris,

The abbreviation, "NPT" stands for National Pipe Thread and it is the standard for pipe fittings in the U.S as you probably already know.
That fitting you are showing is a 1/4" NPT I believe as that is pretty much the standard size used on Badger, Paasche, and other air hoses where they connect to the compressor. Although they are called, "1/4" they are much larger than that as the NPT system is odd as are most thread standards for pipe threads. Who thinks these things up anyhow? Confused [%-)]

Do you mean it measures 1/2" or are you saying it is a 1/2" NPT fitting? That is huge! [:0]

Should be the same, The moisture trap and reg I just added were from Home Depot, all 1/4 inch fittings I believe. If it isn't universal, I would never buy from the offender again.

As some may know, I just recieved my new Iwata hp-cs airbrush. I have a testors aztek compressor that I use for my aztek. I'm getting the seprately sold AB hose tommorow and I just wanted to know, will the Iwata AB hose work on my testors compressor? If it can't, is there any adapters that I can buy to fit them together? The compressor is testor's AC400 and it looks like the thread outlet on it is a 1/2 an inch. Does anybody know what the size of the compressor end of Iwata's AB hoses? Thanks.
