Problem solved - Mission Models Paints

Still can't get Mission Models Paints to flow well without dry tip using their thinner and Poly...tried again yesterday and today with various combinations of thinner/Poly/paint on practice sheet stock and I'm back to square one...dry tip with frequent work stoppages.  I guess I'm shelving their mediums and I'll just shoot with Vallejo Flow Improver.

 

Maybe you've already done it but when I use dissimilar brands together I like to do adhesion tests and scratch tests . Give it a good time period to dry well. Make a comparison with whatever your primered test subject is using MM products compared to using Vallejo.

They do spray and cover wonderfully for me now with Vallejo Flow Improver.  Tested some mottling and fine lines...even with an ole reliable Vega siphon airbrush I can get very nice mottling and fine lines!  

I have been very happy with MM paints so far, where I am,their formula works perfectly for me,they spray nicely,level out beautifully,and clean up easy.
