To clean my airbrush I use a mix of 1/3 Simple green 1/3 Windex 1/3 Distilled water.

Works great  (I use Acryics BTW)

I would go to Home Depot or Lowes before going to Walmart. Last few times I have looked for it at Walmart they didn't have it. They instead had this cheap green clearer that is nothing like Simple Green. The Walmart stuff is just a ploy to get people that are wanting to be eco. The same goes for most grocery stores I have see around here. I am in Texas so location might be part of it. Home Depot is where I get mine.

SImple Green is some good stuff. If you buy the spray bottle there is no need to delute it. If you use acrylics and need to strip the paint let the part or parts soak in some Simple Green and the paint will come right off after a few minutes.

Shipwreck

MusicCity, I found a gallon jug of Simple Green in a local tractor store. It is a concentrate; and far more than I need for $13.00. Is this the product you use? If so, how do you dilute it?Thanks for your feedback!

The bottle will tell you on it how much of it to mix with water in another container.

If that is more than you need you should be able to find it at Walmart, Pep Boys or a supermarket.

I see it everywhere here.

It is the green colored bottle on this homepage of theirs.

It is an all-purpose cleaner for around the home or industrial applications.

Simple Green is a brand name for a general purpose cleaner. It works great on grease stains, oil, acrylic paints!, and other household cleaning jobs. I use it a lot on my vehicle, for cleaning my airbrushes, etc.

I usually get it at Lowes or Home Depot, but it's available in a lot of department stores now to.

I've heard people mention Simple Green here before, but was wondering what product is actually used...all purpose cleaner?...oven cleaner?...industrial strength?... and what exactly can it be used for.
