Future at 45psi ? Do you stand about 3 feet away when you spray ? Sounds like a Silly Post to me.

lonerbboy, you need to crank the psi up to around 12 to 18 psi and try it again unless you're thinning the stew out of the future. i wouldn't think it would cause any rust on metal but it just my opinion. you have to dust future on from about 2 inches from the subject with light coats and build it up with about 4 or 5 coats. the first 3 coats arent gonna look that glossy but the 4 and 5 start looking level and glossy. later.

Future Application Question
Posted by Anonymous on Tuesday, May 11, 2004 1:22 PM
Has anyone applied Future over metal parts? Diecast parts?
i have a old figure/toy that has alot of metal parts. and i wish to clearcote it with Future so the parts won't oxidate. but i don't know if i have the right idea.

Does anyone know if Future will damage metal surfaces?

with it rust in time?

and does anyone have any tips on airbrushing this stuff? i had no luck with it so i have to hand brush everything. and for large surfaces, it because very annoying to handle at times.

When airbrush it, Future comes out too fast and too thick. and all i see are bumps and bubble like surface. i have used an 8-10 psi.
Could it be because the tip of my airbrush needles is a little bent?
