Help with compressor filter.

Hi, I purchased the following compressor. Now, I bought the same brand filter for it. It says that it filters out debris and liquids. I was wondering if that filter would be sufficient for airbrushing since I've only heard of water traps being used. It looks like the normal water traps I've seen sold with hobby compressors. Common sense would tell me that it's probably the same thing but I thought I'd ask anyway since it wasn't labled: Water Trap, on the package. Pretty dumb question but I'd rather know before I ruin my ED-209. I've airbrushed a little before but never with a compressor. Thanks!
