Let the acrylic cure THOROUGHLY, as in 48 hours to be safe. Spray the first several coats of laquer VERY thin, as in mist coats, and then let it dry thoroughly between coats. Laquer is pretty aggressive and can easily eat acrylic if you aren't careful.

I use MM Metalizers over acrylics frequently, but I always hold my breath when I do it.

Hey guys. I just painted an me-262 using model master acryls, and i was wondering whether i can spray model master clear gloss lacquer over them? Will it harm the acrtylics underneath? Thanks for the info, tankmaster.
