Mine did the exact same thing when I first cleaned it.

Thanks guys, I'll give that a try. Don't have any lube though. Guess I need to try to find some.

I agree with MusicCity , it is because the needle is not in the nozzle properly which will happen after cleaning if you don't push it in properly! You should use lube to lube up your needle this makes tip drying paint to not happen and helps with the spray to come out cleaner.

The needle is not far enough out, probably from where you cleaned it last. Loosen the chuck at the back of the needle, push it forward until it just seats against the nozzle, tighten the chuck.

I have not had this brush for too long now and it has been great. All of a sudden today it is spraying while just pressing the button down and not pulling back, also spraying a bit of a rough finish. Is something out of whack that needs to be adjusted or what?
