For those who cannot get Castrol try thre Polly-S Easy-Lift-Off. it works well. One shot in the Dark may be Mechanics waterless hand soap, it is suppose to remove grease and oil and it just MIGHT work on models? Just a thought.

Is the Castrol Super Clean hydraulic fluid ?- I have a problem to clean out a ships deck
which needs to be cleaned up. The white primer paint I used has bubbled (over previous coat of grey paint that did not come right !). I need to get rid of this bubbly primer. Is Castrol the only answer ? I am not sure that I will manage to find the Super Clean here in Malta.

Easy-Off oven cleaner in the yellow can is good.
I have also heard of good results on acrylics with Simple Green cleaner.

I have several old model kits and dealer promo models that i would like to remove the paint from. I Have removed the paint from the flat areas, but sanding will remove the details molded int the plastic.
