Greetings...
Just for a little back ground, I am returning to modeling after about a 20 year vacation. Currently I have been building mostly Revell 1/48 Aircraft models to try and skill up before tackling things more complicated. (Nothing against Revell mind you, I just have a source where I can get some of their less popular models very cheap, so it made sense to do that).
Anyway, something that is really frustrating me right now is the flat white color. I have tried both the square-ish Testors that I have memories of from childhood and the newer (from my point of view at least) Model Masters flat white. I am not sure if it is my technique, the paint or a combination of all the above, but getting even coverage with this color is a nightmare.
Since I live in IL, using an airbrush it out of the question until it either warms up and I can use it outside, or I find the right pair of shoes to convince my wife to let me purchase a spray booth

Any advice, or recomendation of a manufacturer would be greatly appreciated. My next project is a F-16, which appears to have a good deal of, yes, flat white.
