If you want to take it all off Castrol Super Clean will do it. Haven't tried it on clear parts though so I'd advise trying it on some scrap first. You can find it at Walmart or most auto supply stores.

if it is not a huge area of paint a toothpick works well too... just use the tip to scrape and push the paint toward the frames.. as Duke said, future will take care of most scratches if any arise...

Thanks for the reply. I would rather dissolve the Future with something. It's less harsh and this is one of the points of using future anyway. I just don't know with what.
(But I really appreciate your answer. I might need some canopy touch-up in the future...) :)

Hi There, this maybe a long shot but what about some tamiya polishing compund rubbed on with a cutex or ear-bud whatever you want to call it?? You will probably lose some paint on the framing, but that can be touched up later. I have tried this and it worked for me, I actually had super glue on the canopy. So basically, rub them down, which should restore them to their original transperent selves, then re-future them, and touch up with a final coat of future to seal the whole lot.

Hope this helps

How to remove paint from canopies treated w/ future

The paint sneaked under the mask on the canopies of two of my kits. Since I dipped them into Future, it should be easy to get rid of them. The question is how? I tried alcohol, Publix Window cleaner with ammonia, butthey're a pain in the neck, and don't really work.
Some advice would be appreciated.
Thank you.
