Common Aztec problem because yoy can't really take the tips apart a clean them although I tried when I was using it. I don't recommend it. Their never go back together right. Soaking in an airbrush cleaner seems to help.

back when I had my Aztek I found the soaking overnight in the appropriate thinner helped a LOT! I had a lot less problem with clogging...

I know some of the regular Aztek users also recommend soaking the nozzles in thinner. For more drastic action, you can also pull them apart.

I use lacquer thinner, about half a jar, half way threw, I put a piece of kitchen paper over the nozel to help shift paint from that area, so far no problems with blockages

proper airbrush cleaning

Hi all, I use a Modelmaster Aztec nozzle system airbrush. After each use I spray a generous amount of airbrush thinner through it but still get the occassional clogged nozzle. Is there anything I can do to help prevent this? Is there a specific airbrush cleaner I should use?
