If the acrylic is cured both enamel and acrylic will come off together no matter what you do. If the acrylic is very fresh you might try Simple Green or 409. Even then it's a long shot because of the way acrylic sets up.

Try a little Windex or Simple Green and see if it works.

Wisdom is the right use of knowledge. To know is not to be wise. Many men know a great deal, and are all the greater fools for it. There is no fool so great a fool as a knowing fool. But to know how to use knowledge is to have wisdom. " Charles Spurgeon

hmmm I wouldnt know how to do it without stripping the enamel too... maybe someone else could come along and help you out... two things I can think of would be either windex or MM Acryl dried paint remover (it's not a solvent that will harm enamel)

good luck and maybe someone with more experience in what you are trying to do will come along... usually I just strip everything...

What is the best way to strip MM Acrylics without stripping the MM enamels underneath? I tried rubbing alcohol which worked to a point, but not very well. It turned the glossy clearcoat flat and white like superglue fog. This would look good on some jet engine parts though. A nice white ash that is controllable where you want it.
