Make sure you have enough SNJ to do the job, because I believe that the company has gone out of business.  The only SNJ available is whats out there right now.

Don't have a siphon feed airbrush.  Both my airbrushes are gravity feeds.  Any additional advice there?

Yea, I have a couple. First read their directions. you can't go wrong there. I use a siphon jar with the siphon tube cut up about 3/16" from th bottom of the jar. This is to keep the metal particles from settling and then not enough carrier (clear stuff ) mixed in causing a grainy finish. As the time passes keep giving it a swirl every so often to keep everything mixed thourghly. The directions say to "mist" in 3-4 light coats. This is crutial. If you flood the model with it, you will end up with a finish that resembles orange peeling. SNJ is a "hot" paint. It will eat into the plastic if too much is applied at one time. I set my airbrush to the finest setting to spray. This stuff is so thin it floods easily. I often wind up applying 5-6 coats for coverage to avoid flooding and eating of the plastic.

Good luck

Hey all.  I'm about to try using SNJ's metal finish and rubbing compound on A.M.'s Vindicator.  I've never used this stuff before.  Any advice or tips before I spray away?
