Looking for advice on a colour (airbrush)
Posted by Anonymous on Wednesday, May 31, 2006 5:37 PM
    Hi everyone!
I'm looking to paint some sci-fi vehicles in a Citadel colour called 'Dark Angels Green'. I've heard that citadel paints are lousy for airbrushing, so I'm trying to find an equivilent. Vallejo make a direct equivelent in their Game Color range, but I'm not quite sure if that stuff will thin down with Vallejo Model Air thinner, and how much dillution it would need. Any idea people?

it should thin down just fine, use distilled water and thin it about 10% I would think, that is what they recommend for their Model color line which is a primarily brushed paint like Game Color.  The Game Colors are supposed to have some very fine pigments so coverage shouldn't be a prob, nor should airbrushing them be.

Good luck!!!
