Perhaps trial and error on a scrafical model?

I think it's that Future dries much more slowly than normal acrylics do, so you can lay it doen thin and it will level afterwards as opposed to trying to make the coat as smooth as possible as you lay it, if that makes any sense.

A "light" coat of Future is a mist coat of anything else. It's actually okay to start with coats so light that they look pebbly, and build them up. The first coat should be very light, the second can be heavier, but you want just enough to make the surface look slightly wet. I haven't looked at it microscopically, but Future seems to fuse with previously dried coats seamlessly.

What am I doin wrong...I just sprayed my Viking with Future, put it on in a couple light coats first then let it dry. It pooled up due to gravity in certain locations. I went light with it but it pooled anyway. Just put the second coat on today in lighter coats and its still pooling though not as bad. I'm spraying it right out of the jar without thinner at the right distance but its still not cooperating. I was able to get rid of the pooling from the first layers with a bit of windex, swabs and cotton cloth. Help?!?!Confused [%-)]
