like Ross had said,  just use Tamiya fine white primer, sand it down a lil, and gloss coat

I agree with Ross.

Especially since you are painting with gloss which will show flaws more than flats do.

Wisdom is the right use of knowledge. To know is not to be wise. Many men know a great deal, and are all the greater fools for it. There is no fool so great a fool as a knowing fool. But to know how to use knowledge is to have wisdom. " Charles Spurgeon

Count your blessings and start painting…

The only reason to prime with a different color in your case is to find defects in the plastic finish—amazing what shows up with a coat of flat primer. In your case, I'd use a very light gray. Because gray is a neutral color, it makes it easier to spot defects in the model's surface.

You could prime with a flat white, too.

If im going to paint a gloss white color over white plastic, should I prime the white plastic with some other color? gray?

Any suggestions?
