Hi,
My name is Toby and I'm 14 so probably one of the youngest modellers here. This year for Christmas I received a Badger 200 airbrush.
Ok down to the point, I constructed a Panavia Tornado aircraft without a hitch but when it came down to painting it I ran into a problem. Before painting i had washed to model in warm soapy water and then left it for 24 hours to dry.
I thinned the paint and then began airbrushing. When I had completed the model in its lightest coat I left it to dry and everything seemed ok until the next day when I returned to the model. I returned to the model to find that some of the paint had cracked slightly.
Obviously being my first time at airbrushing I don't know what the reason was. On my practice piece of plastic this cracking had not appeared so I am now confused.
Do you know what had caused this problem?
Thanking you in advance.
Toby
