paint not coming out
Posted by ps1scw on Sunday, January 7, 2007 1:55 PM

I have an air compressor hooked up to my badger 350.  I run the comressor with high and low pressure but the paint will not come out! This airbrush is NOT gravity fed.  It has the bottle of paint on the bottom that is suctioned up (or at least is supposed to be).  I have been able to paint with the air can but want to use the compressor.  What steps need to be taken to have the compressor push the paint up the feed tube and through my airbrush?  Thanks in advance to all those who can help.

Your'e undoubtedly not thinning the paint enough. And you probably gummed up the inside with inadequate cleaning...here's what to do....disassemble the airbrush(needle & tip) and clean off any minute trace off dried paint with TESTOR'S liquid cement, which works great for that; then soak your cup in a bath of the same. BE CAREFUL to put the liquid glue in a suitable vessel that's not gonna get eaten through. AND CLEAN YOUR AIRBRUSH THOROUGHLY after each use!
