You're welcome.  One thing to be careful of is getting the glue residue off of the canopy after removing the foil.  Solvents like goo-gone or lighter fuel can attack the paint, the method I use is simply rubbing it off gently with my finger or a light scrubbing with a Q-tip.  It has worked well for me for years.  Good luck!

I use bare metal foil as a canopy mask, but you can also apply micro foil adhesive to one side of aluminum foil and use that in it's place.  Hope that helps!

Ok I think I didn't get my question out right, in the mini magazine that came with an issiue last year it had a Focke-Wulf 109.  And it was saying how they masked the entire canopy, with what looks like aluminum foil.  How does the aluminum foil stay on while painting?  When you glue the canopy on the main body, what is the best way to masked it so it can be painted along with the main body?  Hope this clears it up.

Would you paint it on like a liquid mask, then trim around and remove it from the frames?  I really don't know, just speculating.
