I have one, and enjoyed using it. I eventually switched to an Aztek, but not because I found anything wrong with the Paasche, so much. I sort of fell into both airbrushes at the same time, and ending up preferring the Aztek.

The VL's adjustment wheel is real handy.... get familiar with that! It's great.

I found that I used the #3 tip almost exclusively. I thought the tip size determined spray pattern, but in researching it I found that they had to do with paint thickness.

I picked up a couple of additional paint cups so I could switch colors fast, and kept a siphon jar handy full of solvent to clean the brush between color changes.

Keep it clean and maintained and it should be a good airbrush.

Just picked up a used Paasche VL for $10 bucks.  I've never used a VL, so any tips would be appreciated.  I'll have to soak, clean, and lube it before I give it a test drive.
