Choosing an Airbrush

If your heart is set on an Iwata and 1/48th is your bag, I would recommend the Eclipse HP-CS.

I would go with the HP-Cplus if you think it might become your primary AB. The HP-B has  a .2mm nozzel. That is very small. The HP-C has a .3mm nozzle, larger cup and is more versitile. I have had the HP-B, HP-C, and Iwata's Revolution. The revolution has a .5mm nozzle and does 90% of my AB work. Tha HP-C does my fine detail stuff and I got rid of the HP-B because of the small cup and a nozzle size I didn't use. I bought a .2mm nozzle and needle for the HP-C but have never needed it.    Greg

Although I use siphon feed airbrushes, I typically use them with a color cup that is, I believe, 1/4 oz.  In my experience, I often use it at least a third to half full, which makes me think the 1/8 oz would be the better choice.  If you are intending it to maybe be your main airbrush, I would definitely lean toward the larger cup.
