Thank you Badger and BearAir customer service!
Posted by Screaminhelo on Tuesday, September 4, 2007 9:26 AM

I have seen a few recent posts concerning what a few companies have done wrong so I thought that I would let folks know that there are some that do things right.

I was going to get a Badger 150 complete set from a friend for a steal but he decided to keep his brush.  It was no big deal, since BearAir had the same advertised for $65.  I guess that they shipped the last one as I placed my order because when I went back later in the day to be sure that they had my order, the 150 complete was on back order.  That was 24 days ago.
I started through BearAir who suggested I talk to Badger who sent me back to B/A for more info.  Upon getting back to Badger, Susan was able to give me a ship date from their place and delivery at B/A.  The only way that things could have been easier would have been for me to be proactive and get the PO# before I talked to Badger the first time.
No, I didn't get a bunch of freebies or expedited shipping , but I am A happy customer because they informed me of the entire situation.  Granted, I would probably give an even more stellar report if they had offered free shipping or some kind of bonus prize but I am simply happy to get something besides customer no service in this age of toutch tone menus.

If you are interested in the 150 complete, it is still available at BearAir for  a pretty good price.

What's the story on Badger getting so far behind in production?  This has been going on for sometime now.

I have my suspicions from working for a major manufacturer a few years ago.  It doesn't necessarily mean the company is foundering, there could be managment issues.  Either way, it is kind of tough on those of us who use their product.

I am glad that in the midst of some kind of turmoil at the company that they are still helpful with their customers.  That says to me that they expect to get through an continue to serve the art and modeling community.

Buy an old rotary phone.  It used to work much better a few years ago, but with a rotary phone and a touchtone menu system that is at least a couple of years old, you will go straight to a human.  With a new system you get a message telling you that you need a touchtone phone.

As the owner of 10 Badger brushes, I would certainly agree with you.  I've talked to them on the phone many times to solve a maintenance problem.  Just making sure everything is alright with them as I've never known them to run out of their products before.

I sometimes just start pushing buttons that are not on the menu or just use the good old 0 whether it is an option or not.  Certian words, or just nonsense, works on voice systems.

I really do hope that this supply situation is just a temporary thing!

As a personal friend of the owner of Badger I would agree with you my friend.
