Question about airbrush BD-180

This is my first double action AB and as a beginner, it's ideal to get you started. If you are a more experienced modeller, like many here, save up the pennies and buy brand quality. 

I have tried to be very careful with maintaining and cleaning, but at some stage (still don't know how) I bent the needle just  slightly. Better to do this on a cheap knock off than a quality AB.

Having a bit more experience with AB now, I have moved to a Nozomi for detail , whilst keeping the BD-180 for general, or larger coverage jobs.

Thank you for your message, chap. In fact, I was very reluctant to do this as I did not feel it well and feared something could occur. In the end, as I fear my friend is the deep-pocket-and-short-arms kind ( so he has difficulties to catch his purse ) it could be a real pain to get replacement parts for my airbrush if he must pay for them.

DO NOT MIX THE PARTS.  The needle/nozzle size are slightly different, meaning the head assembly carts could be incompatible and cause damage. 

Yes Sir, it's that one and roughly the same price than on ebay, with the benefit of having an identified "shop". Now, that is a personal choice In fact, I think that the CM C+ is no match for modelling and that the HP CH is much best suited, as long as you restrain your choice to Iwatas; I also think a HP CR is totally useless if you already own an Omni 4000 , but here we are on a budget decision and it can change a lot of things. I think that in matter of tools, buy cheap is buy twice, but fact is that this one is very inexpensive...

I agree, IF you live in North America. I've seen the prices on Badger in the UK and Australia, and it's ridiculous.

You never know what you are getting with these knock offs.
