Not necessarily true.  Alclad is a pretty slick surface to start with, so there's no big need to to spray it with future for decaling.  The purpose of laying down future is to give the area a flat surface for the decals to adhere to.

What you can do, when working with alclad and other metallizers, is to dip the decal in solvent or future to soften it up and then apply it.  This eliminates the need to spray down a coat and kill the paint job.

a few questions: Is the Primer acrylic? If so, try sealing the primer with Future.

How long dod you let the primer and the Alclad cure? Let the primer cure for 48-72 hours before spraying the alclad. Then, let the Alclad cure for the same amount.

Hoepfully, this fixes your problem.
