Airbrush Problem
Posted by Alpha54 on Saturday, December 1, 2007 7:33 PM
Ok I have one of the cheapo Badger 150 airbrush clone. Now the is problem is is that every time I want just air to come water comes out.Now note I have water in the Jar.Now its not the moisture trap because when I take the jar off it stops spraying water.I have also completley dissassembled it and cleaned it.The needle is not bent and all the o-rings are intact. Also when I push back and puushh down the trigger it works fine.

Take the handle off, loosen the needle chuck, back the needle out a bit and then push it back into the tip and hold it there with your finger as you tighten the needle chuck.

It sounds like your needle is not seating and is allowing paint/water to get past it, or you, or the factory, damaged the cone (tip) and it is not seating.

Great news!

I have had that happen countless times myself and sometimes a bit of paint in the tip is the culprit.
