Hose Advice

There are a variety of hoses. I have the factory hoses for each of my airbrush. Coiled vinyl hoses are okay but they can be a pain too. I took two Paasche hoses to make one long one. I have also done the same with the one for my Iwata. Replacement hoses are available from most places that sell airbrushes. For a heavy duty hose check your local hardware store, be sure to get the fittings needed to convert it to mate to your fittings.

I prefer braided.  The thin vinyl type that came with my Badger airbrush, because of its lack of weight, kind of flops around and gets in the way, whereas my 10' braided Badger hose with an in-line moisture trap hangs conveniently out of the way.  Because there are several tread sizes for diffenet airbrush brands, I got an adapter that I screwed on my Paasche H to allow the Badger hose to fit.

...And I prefer the vinyl hose as I find the weight of the braided hose to be a bother!

I, too, prefer braided. They don't argue with the direction I want to move.

I like braided. I have a Paache with the water trap.

Braided is all I've ever used.

I use the longer 8' badger braided hose with quick connects on it. I love it!

I used the vinyl one that came with the 'brush when I first started airbrushing.  But, after trying the braided I will never go back.
