I live a cold climate and normally do any spray painting, gravity feed AB & rattle can, after winter is past opening the shop windows and running a fan(s) to exhaust the paint residue. I now want the capability to spray during the winter months and think a small spray booth exhausting through a panel trapped between a sliding window and window frame would be in order.
My primary projects will be WWII USN ships in 1/16" scale and my first build will have a hull length of 19”. I see that Pace Enterprises has a model called the 24" Peace Keeper Mini that is semi open ended and I’m wondering if it would be adequate for the job. The open ends may not draw as good as a close ended booth but it would allow moving a longer piece, such as a hull, along so that the area your painting would be in the center of the booth. Not prefect but would at least allow me to exhaust fumes without the lose of to much heat from the shop
You can see the 24" Peace Keeper Mini at http://www.pacepaintbooths.com/pace/
Thanks for your time.
