Talon acrylics don't need to be thinned.  Stir them thouroughly and shoot them straight.  They clean up with windex, like regular acrylics.

Talon Acrylic NMF - Bronze
Posted by DD-557 on Sunday, February 3, 2008 4:03 PM

I'm thinking of trying Talon's Acrylic NMF - Bronze instead of Floquil's - Brass for the propellers on a DE that I'm getting ready to start. Although brass is called for I'm thinking that bronze may be a better choice?

The props are cast pewter and the plan is to prime them with lacquer-based automotive primer-surfacer in a spray can for the undercoating; I assume there will not be a compatibility problem between the lacquer and the Talon acrylic.

Since I will be spraying the Talon with an AB what do I use to thin the paint with and what may the ratio be?

Thanks.
