BUT if your base coat is acrylic, the Windex will dissolve it. Otherwise, if your wash is going over an enamel base coat, no problem. |

That's the only problem. In that case, with acryls for a base coat, I use 90% alcohol instead of Windex, and since it evaporates faster, it won't attack the paint like Windex does. Just very gently brush the wash on, make sure the paint has cured for at least a day, and it works for me.
