thanx for the infromation and hints. i wasnt sure what exactly i had to do as i am new to using a double action brush. but this shoudl help alot. now i can practice and get to the point i can paint a kit i want to finish in that way

For fine lines, I thin the paint more than normal & turn the compressor psi down.  Hold the AB very close to the surface being painted & move the AB fairly quickly on your pre-determined path..  Takes a lot of practice to find the right combo of thinning/pressure/trigger release for your set up, but eventually you'll find the magic combination that works for you Smile [:)].

ok so here is my problem. i have an iwata eclipse dual action air brush. what i would liek to know is how do i get a finer line with my dual action bush. do i need less air pressure on my compressor or do i need to just get more prctice with the brush? because i have read diffrent artciles on air brushing in fine scale and im wondering if im using to much air pressure
