I did use the MM Metalizer Sealer after testing it on another piece I was using for experimentation.  Realized it's ultra thin so I sprayed the model last night. You're right, it does tone down the shine a bit but it's gotta be because that Metalizer wants to rub off as you handle it. 

Also realized it'll be fine for decaling and washing although I'm certain I've got to use an acrylic wash, yes?

I really hate to leave the whole thing unsealed after decaling and washing. What about using the Metalizer sealer again?
