On a recent build, I used the same method that I usually do for applying decals and coating with Testor's Dullcoat. But this time the decals shrivelled up after I applied the Dulcoat. (?)
I brush painted with MM Acrylic, one or two coats of future to gloss the surface, applied decals, a coat or two of Testors Decal set solution to get them down, (at this point I don't remember whether I hit them with an additional coat of future) then sprayed dullcoat on. It always worked in the past with good results.
This is the first time I have made a Hasegawa model. Is there anything different about the decal base for these guys that would cause this ? Any other ideas as to what may have caused the problem ? I'm without a clue.
