Again, Hi all; It is a nice site. However, they don't have a set of
decals for the era that I am looking for. There is a way that they
painted the side roundels on the P-38's G's or H's of the 1st FG with a
yellow rim early on in the initial days of Operation Torch. I am having
trouble finding it in 1/48th scale. Any other possible sources out
there?
From there does anybody have any experience with some of the custom
decal makers? I may end up having to explore the world of making my own
decals, which I am not sure I relish the thought of. Or of having to
stencil paint the markings from scratch. That could get interesting as
well. No doubt I will learn something new if any of the latter
possibilities are explored. Sounds like I might be spending some time
in this decals part of the forum.
