I sent you an e-mail. We do work for a bunch of people on the forums here. If you have a picture of what you want i'm sure we could take a look at it and draw it up for you.

Again, Hi all; It is a nice site. However, they don't have a set of decals for the era that I am looking for. There is a way that they painted the side roundels on the P-38's G's or H's of the 1st FG with a yellow rim early on in the initial days of Operation Torch. I am having trouble finding it in 1/48th scale. Any other possible sources out there?

From there does anybody have any experience with some of the custom decal makers? I may end up having to explore the world of making my own decals, which I am not sure I relish the thought of. Or of having to stencil paint the markings from scratch. That could get interesting as well. No doubt I will learn something new if any of the latter possibilities are explored. Sounds like I might be spending some time in this decals part of the forum.

Thanks!
Dave

I find it to be, yes. You can refine your search to the scale and plane on these two sites. They carry alot of decals for specific planes as well as general insignia. Hope this helps.....

Hi Wulf and all; Are Eaglestrike and Aeromaster the best source for decals in general? Or specific to the F4 of the original inquiry? For example, I have been trying to find a source for decals for an early 1/48 P-38H in 1st Fighter Group markings for early on in North Africa. Still the best source?

Check with Eaglestrike and Aeromaster websites. They have a good selection of declas for several scales.
