I was just about to ask about custom decal makers when I found this post.

My question now, though, is if he uses Testors inkjet decal papers and bonder or if they are produced similar to professionally made kit sheets?

If your not familiar with the Testors sheets you design your own graphics through a program like Paint Shop Pro, or Windows Paint, etc. Then you print the image off on the decal paper, with an inkjet printer, and spray the sheet with bonder that protects the ink. The sheets have decal film across the entire sheet (as opposed to the film just around the decal piece itself) and come in clear or white films. Then you can cut out the individual decals and apply them just like regular water slide decals.

The problems I've run into on my cannibal kits is that whatever the paint color of the model is will show through the clear films unless the decal is absolutely black and no hue in between, unless I use the white filmed sheets. The problem with using the white films is that many of the markings I use are fairly open and spindly, so I can't cut out the white from the empty sections inside the markings with out weakening the overall decal.

If Parkes's decals sheets are the product of Testors inkjet gear does anyone know where I can get my custom graphics turned into kit style decal sheets?
