Where Can I get Casting numbers?

Thanks guys, that was kind of I was looking for samll production numbers on items like wheels of tanks and so on.

I kinda think that III.JG7_rosenberg was also referring to the font type used by german manufactuer's, which is IRC, a bit different than something that you would find
on a US/UK made item.

UK/US casting no's could easily (albiet carefully and patiently) be cut off sprues
check with your local art supply store for dry transfers

As per the above note, a good cheap way to get casting numbers is to use the ones that are on all parts sprues. As for dry transfers, they're available from a variety of manufacturers, and are offered by pretty much any good online hobby shop.
Good place to start is Squadron and Great Models ( www.squadron.com and www.greatmodels.com respectively)

I saw a great tip online somewhere where the author used the embossed numbers and letters from old model sprue for his casting numbers. The numbers would be carefully (and thinly) cut off the sprue and glued into position on the appropriate casting. There were a couple examples and they looked very good to me.

I've never seen casting "stencils" online, but dry-transfers are available from hundreds of online stores. Whether any of the transfers are for casting numbers specifically will require some searching.
