Italeri Me 323 camouflage scheme...
Howdy y'all,
I am just now getting back into modeling after finishing engineering school, so I'm takin' it easy ;) First up I have a Tamiya 1/48 Zero, then an AMT/ERTL A-20B. Looming in the near future however is the reissue of the 1/72 Me 323 Gigant by Italeri. I was reading a kit review of the beastie and came across a reference to the older Italeri instructions. Apparently the older version is for the same aircraft but in an earlier (non-Eastern Front) scheme that is *slightly* more interesting than the standard splinter job. Anyways, its from Tunisia, ca. 1943, does anyone know of any references (profiles, pictures, etc.) that show the splotchy camouflage on the monster? Or better yet, does anyone still have those old Italeri instructions? Thanks, and happy modeling.
oh, and I'm thinking about having a flakpanzer 38(t) driving out the nose doors, as it seems to be about the right weight...
;)
