I can't claim to be any sort of computer guru, but my wife and I have benefitted from bringing our son, Paul, into the world.

After a bit of a slow start in an adult career, he decided on massage therapy. That lasted about eight years, at which point he had to quit because he damaged his hands and arms doing therapy, and needed therapy himself. To make a living, he decided to write books about pain control and sell them through his own website, which he designed himself. Along the way, he wrote the software for websites for his mom and for me, and piggybacked them onto his web site. As a result, we can upload images for our web pages, and for use on sites like Finescale.com.

I myself managed, with some help from Paul, to build a web site for my stamp club, so I know it's not all that difficult. Nor is it expensive. It's certainly a good way to upload photos to any web site that allows it. Here's a photo of my home town, Silver City, New Mexico, from my web site, Ephemeral Treasures; uploading it was easy peevy!:

On the bench: A diorama to illustrate the crash of a Beech T-34B Mentor which I survived in 1962 (I'm using Minicraft's 1/48 model of the Mentor), and a Pegasus model of the submarine Nautilus of 20,000 Leagues Under the Seas fame.

Something like Flickr, Imageshack, Dropbox. I'd stay away from Photobucket. They really betrayed most of us a few years ago.

Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.
