Aaron, I'm adding my voice to his question. I've linked to many older posts in the same way, and those are broken. Hopefully not irretrievably broken.

So long folks!

Unfortunately, the broken links will have to be fixed manually. The change over reassigned the labels and those links were lost. I wish I had better news.

Cheers, Aaron

Aaron,

I hate to say this. What you just said is telling all the FSM supporters that the forum change-over is ill conceived and poorly executed. Cool

No organization would have accept the reassignment of archive labels WITHOUT traceability.

Would you ask the person responsible for the forum "upgrade" why he implemented or accepted this type of change. By the way, did this person ever used the forum before he got this assignment?

We are all waiting. Tongue Tied

Guys,

I know it's not the answer you wanted but with the change of software this is the result as I understand it. We are doing our best to keep you informed of what we can do and what we can't do. This is one of those things that can't be changed.

Cheers, Aaron

Aaron,

I appreciate and admire your candid. But I am still extremely disappointed at the lack of planning of the forum "upgrade" and its results. There are only a few who come here to complain. They are the more active participants and cares.

Is this a result of shoe string budget because funding is difficult to get from the big bosses and the forum is considered a free service by them? Is it because the responsible person from the editorial staff does not usually participate in the forum. I don't believe it is too much to ask for this much transparency.

Matt, can you comment? I hope that you see this.
