I don't know about that. I can see a mishap with an Exacto knife in my future. LOL

Cool. Our spare room has been a magnet for bike related stuff. I figured it was about time to put some scale stuff in there as well. Keep the rubber side down.

Thanks, I'll check them out. I'm also interested in doing some military cycle stuff. The 1/9 BMW R75 w/side car in the Nov '03 gallery looks fantastic!

Right now, however, I'm at square one with everything. Reading all of the past posts etc is slowly giving me an idea of what I'm going to need to get started.

Welcome to the forums, mcgreggor57!

I would recommend any of the Tamiya 1/12 kits. I have a few in my stash and they are awesome Tongue [:P]

Motorcycle rider...now modeler?

Greetings from the Bluegrass State...er...Commonwealth of KY. Riding is my passion, but lately I've developed a desire to do some modeling of all types of bikes. I've got a small collection of diecast, but am looking to eventually build some custom bikes through modeling.

The last time I did anything like this was 35 yrs ago. I'm hoping the old "dog/new trick" thing works out OK.
